Assumption is the mother of all…….
Hola Beautiful People…
Holiday season is here and I pray you and yours are doing well. As has been the norm for me and mine, Meru highlands is where we be at during this time of the year, annual pilgrimage but also to reconnect with my ancestors and attend mass at that local church that literally remembers you in their prayers throughout the year.
2019 has been absolutely amazing for me and I shall sing GOD’s grace forever and ever. I have made such strides personally and professionally that words fail to explain the gratitude I have right now.
I believe my year would have ended even more beautifully had I not for the past 3 days had to battle with triggers for my suicidal thoughts. I have always spoken on mental wellness as I battled with depression and suicide throughout the years and have encouraged and supported others as I know this is still an issue our society is yet to acknowledge that it is a problem. It has been hard, but again by GOD’s grace, we are still here and keep pushing for progress.
With public following, comes a lot of scrutiny. Scrutiny that does not necessarily build or further construct, but rather one that is mostly benchmarked on ‘you see, she was bound to fail at some point’. Again, humanity has somehow made it okay for people to rejoice at others demise. Regardless of whether they are fully aware of the circumstances, facts, or even why whatever happened had happened.
